Projects:  At this position I was tasked typically every week with completing Archaeological and Phase 1 Environmental surveys of multiple FCC Compliant communication towers a week. I was responsible for conducting all archaeology on these projects in accordance with SHPO and ESTO standards. As well as making sure construction will not negatively impact wetlands or endangered species. 
Typically my work here has been in the following states: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky and Kansas. I also conducted SHPO historic research for most of the projects in Alabama.

Project: During this time I was a full time Archaeologist with R.S. Webb. I sometimes served as a Crew Chief/Field Supervisor, Field Technician, Lab Technician, Report Author, Researcher, and as “Screen Czar”. I also recorded and reported archaeological sites for the state site files. During this time I often conducted research at the State Historic Preservation Office in Atlanta, Ga. for National Register of Historic Places, and at the Georgia State Archives in Morrow, Ga. I often worked and interacted with land owners, clients, and curious locals. Unfortunately, I was laid off due to the negative effects of the economy.

The most interesting projects that I worked on at this time include:
9FY173 Sany Testing: A Phase II testing of a site dating from the Mid-Archaic, Late Archaic, and Woodland (Cartersville phase) in Fayette Co. Georgia. In which I served as Field Director.

Tillman Tract EVHD Phase I (aka Pettit Creek). A survey for a proposed lake on Pettit Creek in Cartersville Ga. Within the Etowah Valley Historic District. Bartow Co. Georgia. In which I served as Field Director.

9WN114 Hard Labor Creek Reservoir Dava Recovery. A Multi-component site with a late Paleo Dalton component. Walton Co. Georgia.

9CW120 Lake McIntosh Data Recovery. An excavation of a mid-Archaic through Woodland site. Coweta Co. Georgia.

8LE283 Myers Park Tower Testing. A testing project for a communications tower in Tallahassee, Florida.

Genesee Testing. Phase II testing of several sites including prehistoric and historic such as: 9CW98, a Woodland – Mississippian site; and 9CW300 a possible Lamar era Mississippian farmstead. Coweta Co. Georgia.

Tired Creek Testing. A Phase II excavation of 6 different prehistoric sites near Cairo, GA. Highlights of the sites tested are a possible Late Paleo/Early Archaic site, and Weeden Island village. Grady Co. Georgia.

Project: 9TF145 An ongoing excavation, originally searching for the Santa Isabel de Utinahica mission. An intensive excavation of an early Spanish contact site in Telfair County, GA. The site is a Native American site that has consistently produced diagnostic sixteenth-century artifacts very likely derived from Hernando de Soto's passage through the area in 1540. Fieldwork involved hand-excavation of a large blocks of contiguous units.

Project: Phase III Excavation of the Dickinson Farm Site (46KA111), located 10 miles southeast of Charleston, WV.  The site featured a variety of intact prehistoric deposits
as deep as 3 meters, which  included Early and Middle Archaic, Middle Woodland, and Fort Ancient and potentially Paleoindian deposits.
